On December 19, the 2024 master's thesis proposal defense was held smoothly in Rooms 408 and 412 of the Institute. The expert panel included Professor Wu Chen, Professor Hongjiang Wang, and Associate Professor Jun Tian from the School of Information Technology in Education at South China Normal University; Professor Daoming Fu, Dean of the School of Teacher Education at Guangdong University of Education; Jianlin Cen, Senior Teacher at Foshan Education Information Network Center of Guangdong Province; and Associate Professor Yingbin Zhang from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Education at South China Normal University.

During the defense, students clearly presented their research background, literature review, research content, research design, and innovation points. Experts gave detailed comments and questions one by one and offered constructive suggestions for revision. Finally, the expert panel voted and unanimously agreed that all 2024 master's students passed the proposal defense.

This proposal defense laid a solid foundation for students to steadily advance their thesis work in the later stage. Our institute will continue to strengthen professional talent training, broaden graduate students' academic horizons, and continuously improve their academic literacy and research capabilities.
